One thing we often fail to acknowledge is the strength on the inside of us. We can decide to develop this strength and build an enduring character or choose to instead surround ourselves with reflections of the strength we desire within but don't develop.
Instead of doing the work_ we desire, we yearn and erroneously surround ourselves with mind picked people, a nice squad where each person reflects off to our ego that very part of our character we refuse to develop.
We turn our backs from the learning process of engaging with life as a game of chess where we move, think, strategise and grow, and decide to mentally strategise a crafted self persona driven by desire and based on the collection of strengths of the people around us.
Life sees us trying to make sums count but we fail to realise that even if we write the answers to the sums after we check the back of the book, writing out the answers don't teach us the sums, writing out the answers isn't a fool proof move to learning.
You have to pay the price for development or learning. Even if you surround yourself with choicest of people, the best of the best and have a crafted character squad to rival any mood board you still have to develop your character, learn and grow so you can become those you look up to or desire to be like. The truth is just having them around you won't help you win, seeing them all the time won't make you win if you don't choose to develop your character or hone your innate skills.
The battles you have to face and fight you still have to face and fight. You've got what it takes, don't stay stuck surrounded by figurines of people like unmoved chess pieces.
When you need to make your move, make that move.
Don't choose to use someone else's strength or character when you need to move your own mental marker or make a metal shift to actualise your development.
When I move a piece on a chess board, its my move, my learning path, I'm taking responsibility. When you move your crafted squad ( PASCP_ people as surrounded chess pieces ) you aren't taking responsibility, the path of action that person takes isn't your personal learning path or curve_they are getting stronger in a strength they have while you remain the same as they take the action for you.
Build the strength within, don't let that capability get weakened, don't let that ability get defeated. don't choose the lazy route. Build you.
Equip your army within, your army of innate strengths that you train and call on on the day of need. don't collect an army of what you are failing to develop.
